Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
January 19
Every January, we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as we remember his service and activism. Dr. King served a key role in the American Civil Rights Movement from the mid-1950s throughout his life.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day is symbolic of uniting as a community and nation.
National Activity Professionals Week
January 26-30
Each year, the National Association of Activity Professionals leads a week honoring life enrichment professionals. Thank you to our life enrichment directors and all those involved in organizing fun, engaging, and fulfilling activities for our residents. We appreciate you!
International Holocaust Remembrance Day
January 27
On this day, we remember the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust. On January 27, 1945, Soviet troops liberated the Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
