Meet Rhody! (named after Washington State’s flower, the Rhododendron)

Home: Washington

Rhody is the granddaughter to one of Avamere Port Townsend’s residents. She is a 4.5-year-old golden retriever, originally from Montana, and NOT a water dawg!

She is a lover and rarely makes it through the front doors to visit her senior without getting stopped by everyone she meets to initiate happy hugs, pets, and awwww’s.

Hobbies (in order of preference): Love, eating, chasing balls, and sleeping on the couch!

Meet Dexter!

Dexter is a long-haired tabby. His parent chose her apartment with Dexter in mind: third floor view of trees with wide windowsills to view the birds and squirrels.

After only a day at Avamere Port Townsend he was already roaming the hallways to acclimate himself to his new home.

Favorite toy: scratch post

Hobbies: sleeping (zzzzz)

Meet Oscar!

He is half Shih Tzu & half Pomeranian (although he’s been referred to as a mini Ewok from Star Wars).

Favorite activities: Sleeping and walking

He doesn’t really have any favorite toys as he basically is one.

Oscar is well aware that humans will love on his cuteness so that keeps him occupied most of his non-sleeping hours.
