Pets of Arete Living December 2022

We have several furry friends to feature in this month’s Pets of Arete Living! Meet our friends:

Pet parent: Jessica Knehr, Avamere at Newberg

I have 4 wonderful dogs - Milo (the mini aussie), Sassy (the corgi), and Georgia and Tank (the pugs)! I also keep a wide variety of other pets like white tree frogs, I breed Ball Pythons, and even have a tarantula on my desk at work! But I can’t forget about the three bettas, shrimp tank and TWO saltwater tanks. Our living room is like entering the Zoo!

I have kept reptiles for over 10 years and my saltwater tanks for the last two. My three youngest dogs are all under 3 years old, so we have had a lot of puppy practice and little Georgia is getting CGC certified! So proud of my little lady!

Here is my daughter Maylen and her guinea pigs named Daisy (in hand), Mocha (multi-colored), and Cookie (gray).

Daisy is Mocha's baby. She had babies about three months ago, and Maylen helped with the birth process. It's been so fun to see Daisy grow up as a wee little one to full size! They also know Maylen's voice and start squeaking like crazy to see her once she is home from school each day.
