Livia’s Parent Corner highlight the kids of Arete Living employees and residents. This section is named after Livia Thompson, Senior Life Enrichment Director with Avamere at Bethany, who initiated this idea.

Katelynn Hensiak, Resident Care Coordinator, Avamere at Hillsboro

My name is Katelynn, and I’m the Resident Care Coordinator at Avamere at Hillsboro. I have three wonderful children: Stephen, Saralynn, and Scarlett. We love going outdoors, on walks, and going to the gun range. We love spending time having movie nights and playing video games. We love going to our local restaurant and eating frozen yogurt as a treat! Hagg Lake is also a favorite spot to swim and relax!

I love my job. It is a passion I have had in my heart since the age of 16 taking care of my grandmother. I enjoy what I do and it’s very rewarding!
