Life Enhanced Spotlight: Kris Vandehey

December’s Life Enhanced Spotlight is Kris Vandehey, Divisional Sales Consultant with Arete Living. Working with our Chief Marketing Officer Thomas Cloutier, Kris oversees directors of sales and outreach across all Arete Living-managed senior living communities.

Kris is passionate about enhancing lives of seniors. She serves as a committee member for Memories in the Making fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association. Kris also led the efforts of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the sponsored Oregon walks, including Corvallis, Salem, and Portland. Kris worked directly with the directors of sales and outreach in these areas to coordinate fundraising efforts, booth displays and activities, prizes, and more.

“Kris’ exceptional work elevates sales at Arete Living,” shared Thomas. “Kris works tirelessly to coach and teach our sales team members. She is selfless, cares deeply about everyone, and never stops trying to improve. Kris makes this organization better, and I am thankful to have her on my team. Thank you, Kris, for all you do!”

Kris motivates employees and constantly seeks new strategies for increasing sales. One of Kris’ love languages is definitely gifts, as almost anyone who gets to know Kris will receive a thoughtful gift from her.

Kris has a caring heart and often asks teams how they are doing and if there is anything more she can do to support them. She truly takes Arete Living’s mission to heart – “to enhance the life of every person we serve” – as she selflessly serves her team members.
